Community is one of God’s sweetest gifts to us. While we don’t have many recognized ‘ministries’ at PLCF, we encourage people to come together and lead events as Holy Spirit leads. Our women’s ministry is an excellent example of that dynamic. While we have no one person in charge of all activities, a number of women work together to organize and host a variety of opportunities for our women to spend time together and get to know one another. These activities include:

Monthly Panera nights – we meet at Panera on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. Some women come and eat dinner, some come for tea and others just come and join us without ordering anything. The point is to spend time together. We rotate between the Panera restaurants in Smyrna and Providence.
Ages: high school graduates and up.

Women of Worth Conference – This is an annual conference for our women. We spend the time focused on our identity in Christ and the Truth that He speaks over us. This is always a sweet time for our women to not only learn more about God’s love for us but to also learn more about each other and deepen relationships. We have a 3 day retreat every other year and a shorter ‘reunion’ retreat on the other years.
We also have a WoW brunch every 3 months. It’s open to anyone who has attended a WoW retreat or is over 30 years old.
